Why Hair Length Matters
Some services require more time, product, and styling depending on your hair's length, thickness, and density. To help you better understand service pricing before your appointment, please use this Hair Length Guide as a general reference.
Short Hair
Above the shoulders
Hair that falls above or around the chin and does not extend past the shoulders.
Medium Hair
Shoulder length to just below the shoulders
Hair that falls at the shoulders or extends several inches below them, generally above the shoulder blades.
Long Hair
Below the shoulder blades to mid-back
Hair that extends beyond medium length and may require additional time and product for styling, coloring, treatments, or blow-drying.
Extra Long Hair
Mid-back and longer
Hair that extends to the lower back, waist, or beyond. Extra-long hair typically requires additional service time and product.
Please Note:
Hair length is one factor used when determining service pricing. Hair thickness, density, texture, condition, and the amount of product or time required may also affect the final price. Services listed reflect the base price for that service up to medium regular hair. Your final price may vary depending on your individual hair needs.
If you are unsure which category your hair falls into, Blair will confirm your hair length and service needs before your appointment begins.
