Healthy Hair Is the New Luxury
There will always be a new cut, color or style getting attention.
But one of the hair trends I’m happiest to see is something much more fundamental:
People are paying attention to the condition of their hair again.
For me, that isn't really a trend. It's how I've always believed hair should be approached.
I love beautiful styling. I love color. I love transformation.
But I don't believe the finished look should come at the expense of the hair underneath it.
Therapy Salon’s website is already built around this philosophy: understanding the client’s hair and goals, prioritizing healthy hair and tailoring every appointment to the individual.
What Healthy Hair Looks Like
Healthy hair doesn't mean everyone has to have the same texture, length or style.
I look for things like:
strength, manageability, elasticity, hydration, healthy-looking ends and a scalp environment that supports your hair.
Sometimes the most important transformation isn't dramatic enough for Instagram.
It might be improving dryness.
Reducing unnecessary breakage.
Getting your ends back into shape.
Or changing the way you care for your hair between appointments.
Those changes add up.
Treatments Should Have a Purpose
I'm a big believer in giving the hair what it actually needs.
That is why treatments shouldn't automatically be viewed as an extra luxury added onto an appointment.
Depending on the condition of your hair, targeted conditioning can be part of maintaining the look you're trying to achieve.
The current service menu includes traditional conditioning, Olaplex conditioning and natural conditioning treatments.
The important part isn't simply choosing a treatment because it sounds good.
It's understanding why your hair needs it.
My Favorite Beauty Trend Is Intention
The longer I work behind the chair, the more I believe great hair comes from paying attention.
Your styling routine matters.
Your heat habits matter.
Your color history matters.
Your scalp matters.
And yes, your lifestyle matters too.
When I understand those things, I can help you make better decisions about what comes next.
For me, luxury isn't about doing the most.
It's about receiving the right care.
